<p>What I&#8217;m talking about is   the exercise known as Kegels.  Only problem is that almost nobody does them correctly! </p>
<p>Ladies in The MARI Method learn to isolate their muscles with a form of exercise called Yometrics. But, get ready because, I&#8217;m about to demonstrate how you can isolate  your muscles for Kegels.</p>
<p>First, we must get clear on one thing. Fat &#8220;stomach&#8221; is actually talking about your fat &#8220;gut&#8221;. Your gut in the lower abdominal area &#8211; that area below your navel. </p>
<p>Quite often, when someone tries to do a kegel, you suck in your stomach and not your gut. Or, maybe you start out by sucking in your gut, but, about 5 seconds into it, your contraction has shifted and your stomach is now doing all the work. </p>
<p>In order to do a kegel that will flatten the muscles in your abdomen and also strengthen your genitourinary muscles , which will keep your partner happy. Stand up tall.  Next lift your core while placing your hands on your abdomen. </p>
<p>Thinking about your gut and begin to pull in the muscles in your gut. Then, slightly bend forward from the waist &#8211; using your hands on your abdomen as a reminder to continue &#8220;pulling in&#8221; on those muscles.  As you bend forward,  pay attention to your abdomen, squeezing it in even tighter. Hold while you count to 10.  You&#8217;ll want to repeat the kegel 2-3 times throughout the day. </p>
<p>You should work up to holding the contraction for a full 30 seconds. As holding the contraction, you should attempt to breathe as normal. When a woman does Kegels as instructed here, she will begin noticing a flatter stomach and tighter abs within just a few weeks</p>
